I just noticed that Bios 0804, Cpu-Z or something is reading my memory wrong.

It gets reported as 6400 instead of PC8000.

Does anyone know if this is Bios issue?

I guess I will flash 0910 and find out.

    Nice board...
    I had 3 P5B Deluxe Wifi/APs for testing...

One did over 500 Mhz, the second 480 Mhz (dual-prime stable with 1.3V FSB, 1.45V NB, 1.6V SB and 1.057V ICH) -> more than that was not possible... no boot with 490Mhz with voltages @ 1.45V FSB, 1.65V NB, 1.8V SB and 1.225V ICH... damn board... I'll test number 3 after I've tested 2 CPUs... this is a very loooong day for me

Q-Fan works well with 0910. Just do a CLRCMOS after flashing.

Anyway, a bug shown with 0908/0906/0804 is that P5B's can't read negative temperatures below -4°C.

guys i need help.....i flashed with this bios and now the PC is looking for cd/floppy/usb drive in order to recover the bios cause it messed up.
i have no floppy on my macbook so i can't load the bios on floppy.
no thumb drive at the moment either.
but i loaded afudos, 0804 and some windows bootdisk files and it keeps saying reading cd-rom and cannot find P5BD.ROM even after i renamed the bios file to that.
can someone please hook me up with all the files i need to get to recover and upload it so that i can burn it off on a CD which is the only option i have at the moment.
i don't have the mobo CD which should have the recovery files i need.

please help me out.....thanks in advance.

Heh, well on my P5B it's -13°C with BIOS 0804. My QX6700 is @ -13°C in the BIOS all the time, regardless whether it's @ default speed and voltage or @ 4.2+ Ghz and 1.700V....

So is that fixed in 0910 then?

thats exactly what happened to me.. You need the asus mother CD to recover.. This is when I stopped using the Beta bios's back to the 804 and I am sticking to it only
If you dont have the motherboard CD I can upload only the files you need to recover

its only about 1.3mb Just Unzip it create a CD and call it P5B Series this shuld work
