New product: TEAM Xtreem Dark series

TEAM just announced the new models from the Xtreem Dark series; still high-performance and overclocking memory but a little cheaper than regular Xtreem (wich uses Micron chips), the Dark series use ProMOS chips and come in two flavours:

DDR667 3-4-4-8 (2.0 - 2.2V)
DDR800 4-4-4-10 (2.0 - 2.2V)

Their product codes end with -D (TXDD2048M800HC4DC-D for example is 2GB DDR800 Xtreem Dark kit) and the heatspreaders are the same Xtreem-like ones but in dark blue finish, very very classy.

I should get them after Christmas and let you know how they do .

The 2 new products under the Xtreem Dark series released was: DDR2 800 with Cas Latency of 4-4-4-12 and DDR2 667 with Cas Latency 3-4-4-8, if you are wondering what are the different between Xtreem dark and the normal Xtreem series:
1. Xtreem Dark is targeted for entry level Overclockers
2. Xtreem has tighter timing
3. Xtreem Dark has a dark blue heat sink, although the material used for heat spreader is the same, but the color is different
4. Xtreem Dark is offered to consumers who demand overclocking with rather tight budget

The 2.6V thing is a typo, the specs i've put in the first post are correct. I'll have some testing done the next week, now i'm in vacation .

For $229.99 Surely this DDR2 800 kit is the way to go if you were aiming for 4 GB of system memory with Vista. Definitely more bang for the buck than Micron D9MGH.
