    P4 631 @ 6.8GHz 1.7v cascade -> UPDATED!

    Hi all

    I'll show you my new-old Pentium 4 631 . Specs:

    - P4 631 3GHz/800MHz/2MB stepping C1
    - Asus P5W64 WS
    - 1x512 Corsair 5400UL
    - Ati Rage II 4MB
    - FSP 350W PSU
    - Box cooler
    - room temp ~20'C

    P4 631 - 15x290=4.36GHz 1.15v BOX cooling -> 5h sp2004 orthos small FFTs

    And max screen:
    P4 631 - 15x351=5.27GHz 1.45v BOX cooling -> CPU-Z Verified

    BOX isn't the best cooling solution, so higher vcore don't help . Unfortunatly, 2-3 week ago I sold my Single Stage, so I haven't got better cooling for LGA775.

    Propably in next week I will go to my friend and test this P4 on FC. If it was good under subzero, next time it went under... triple stage

    Sory for my english

    OMFG That's simply incredible, nice cpu there, i needed good aircooler to get 5,05ghz benchstable@1,65volts, and 1,35v for 4350mhz, it looks like they still increase the ocability of the old chips.

    Very nice CPU, beats my older 641;

    Although, I was only using 1.53v, or so.

    What's your max SuperPI 1m? I got my 641 up around 5100mhz; (10c ambients)

    Core i5 2500K - 8GB Corsair Vengeance, ASUS P8Z68-V, Sapphire 5830, Antec 550w

    About 5GHz at 1.3-1.35v box cooled ~20'c ambients, but core temp go over 80-90'C

    Ok, I have some time today, so I try to go higher with MHz . Cooling - still retail heatsink, but with 120x120x38mm fan. Results? Amazing for me

    P4 631 - 15x375MHz=5.63GHz 1.5v BOX cooling -> CPU-Z Verified

    @EZClock
    My max spi 1M. Score wasn't exelent, but it was single channel and without optimalizations - only shut down explorer and high priority:

    P4 631 - 15x345MHz=5.17GHz 1.375v BOX cooling -> Spi 1M

    Another screen with Spi 1M, lower clocks, but more info.

    @DEVIL K-ce
    I promise

    Regards

    I'm back :

    P4 631 - 15x393MHz=5.9GHz -> SPi 1M 22,3s

    Time isn't wonderfull - single channel, non-optimalised OS etc. Score on very light (1/4hp) FC with very bad load - need more gas. Idle temp = ~ 0'C

    P4 631 - 15x400MHz=6GHz 1.55v -> CPU-Z Verified

    I've done 61xx MHz validation, but when I want publish it, I've received error "probleme de taille fichier"

    More to come, I promise
