    Yet another Diying pump (D5)

Woooohoooo! .... My D5 died while i was sleeping and while the computer was running ...

If some of you seen my previous post about my MCP355 whit Petra's top leaking because i forgot to put the O-ring whit the new top... which was sticked onto the stock top of the MCP355 which is why i forgot about it. Well i had to re-do my watercooling system about 3 times. Because the pump leaked, then i dried it (for 24h), cleaned it and then hooked it back in to see if it would work and it did not so again ... Remove all the stuff, cut some more of that expansive tubing and re-did the WC set-up whit my D5. Now after 4 days working on it i got my comp to run whit my D5 and my new Storm. Temps were pretty good so i was happy..

Now i was working on Overclocking my vid card yesterday... and went to bed while i was scanning for artifacts whit ATItool ... I woke up and saw the comp shut down ... so i was like "Now what" ... Had a look at the comp everything was perfect ... so started the comp it booted fine for like a sec and then shutted down ... Now i was like WTF ? Booted again and it did the same thing ... Now i realized that the flow when i was booting wasn't going! The pump wouldn't start at all ... I touched the tubing around the CPU and it was Damn hot! Thank god the Mobo is enough smart to shut itself down when the CPU runs extremely hot! I could have lost my CPU and my GPU ... Anyways i remember i had a bad connection sometime whit my D5. It would just not start if the cable was sitting in a certain way so i had to hook it correctly and it would be alright. So i thought maybe the cable moved and that why it stopped. So i had a look at the power cable of the Pump and played a little whit it... then booted up and the pump didn't started. So i decided to hook up a PSU, bridge it so that it start without the mobo and connected it to the pump. After playing whit the cable i realized that the pump was doing a weird sound when it was powered on. It sounded like a "Clock" sound ... the damn pump was dead! So now im real pissed off and have to remove all the watercooling stuff AGAIN and put back in the Stock coolers ... DAMN PUMPS!

Any clues on what could have happened whit the pump ? it worked perfectly for months now and now it just decide to die ....!?

Im really clueless and REALLY discouraged ... I have a X6800 coming down this week and was willing to hook it under water ... Guess it's too bad...
