    Retail W32 X6800 with LN2: 5400 Mhz to start :)

Me and Silence we had a funny afternoon trying to find how good our new X6800 was. (came from RMA of our old W23's)

We are very happy cause this is really a much better cpu. We were lucky

Today we tried to find max clocks of cpu. Next round we'll optimize results and run some serious 3D

    Batch of cpu: retail L632A374
MOBO: still P5WDH-DL skt 774 (1 pin missing) and 1 ram slot damaged
    RAM: Teamgroup 5300 3,3,3,8
    PSU: OCZ 520
    Graph: 3D Banshee PCI
Cooling: LN2 with Mousepot Rev. 1.1
Vcore used: max 1,92 (this cpu loves volts)

    Cold Bug: Around - 137 and non-progressive

We are sure this is not the max this cpu can handle

    Very nice work bros! Congrats!

Didn't you try another ratio than 1:1?
    Best Regards,

This is not max for sure, think this CPU can handle some 5400Mhzs benching.

Why would it be already dead? It works fine without 1 pin

And our rams can handle 570Mhzs 4-4-4-4 and 465Mhzs 3-3-3-3, hard to find better ones.

    missing pins are doing wonders...
opb' fx55/57 which lost 8 or more pins and overclocked more after this "operation" ...

    Thank you again my friends,

The missing pin is a VCC Pin... I think that´s why is not so important. VCC's are the majority of pins in the socket...

Edit: Here it is the "famous" missing pin
