Even if it cost a little bit more I'd go for it. Maybe this will be the new "opteron"?

this has yet to be determined, phosphate...

only 2 people have reported on the xeons...

    fhp and now victor

fhp got his xeon up to 3.9 orthos stable with 1.65 volts which is pretty darn impressive and now we see these results...

it seems that the default vid is much lower for the xeons than the desktop counterpart...

i'm tempted to try one of these as well!

yeah these xeons i would expect to do better.

however my e6400 does 4ghz, and i could even pass 1m pi at 4100.

When will this Xenon 3050 be released?

    I'll either buy this or a E4300.

These Xenons overclock better on stock Vcore?

Xeon 3050 is expensive than E6400, price among E64&E66.
Cooling is CM Fujin. I'm gonna throw T120 away

FHP's Xeon #2(L628B) does 3903 on 1.58v load by DMM at my normal room temps

    Great job VW!

Its good that Intel are releasing the server chips for the desktop market with the c2d chip. Now it would be nice if CPU-z would recgonise these as Xeons not Core 2 Duos

Those seem like really high temps for water given the volts you are running.
