    Yield in 05 from stock to oc is amazing.

    Though...i'm assuming you didn't oc mem ?

    Looks pretty good. If nvidia can drop these into the 350-400 price range from 450 they should sell like mad! How long is the PCB on the GTS?

    Thanks for the info Denny, with their smaller size and less PSU dependency I think the 8800GTS will be very popular, certainly for Sli it looks like a very fast product indeed.

    I'm debating whether to pick some up ..haven;t really got the money at the mo though. Damn children and Christmas

    buy them a 680i motherboard, and two 8800GTX... assume you have 3 kids..

    then you can test it since they can't use it saperate.... lol

    Wow... nice card. I know you tested 7900GS cards on a high overclock... how similar is the noise of the GTS cooler on a high overclock? And how are temps?

    I doubt it. I also highly doubt that the mounting mechanism will be compatible with the card. (hole spacing is different from 7800/7900/X1800/X1900 series).

    Denny, can you post a pic of the base of the stock cooler? I'm interested to see if any of the power regulation is cooled by the GTS heatsink like it is on the GTX.

    i would really love to see the scores in 3dmark05 and 06 with your conroe at 2.4GHz. so id know what i can expect with my opteron @ 3ghz
