Hello everyone - anyone using the P5b Deluxe/WiFi (maybe also the other P5bs) with the Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 (Cas 5-5-5-12) please run memtest using manually set SPD settings at the rated speeds and post in the Corsair forum with your results (http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=54705

Several of us on the Asus forums have discovered that this RAM will result in errors if the timings are manually set, which you have to do since the SPD is not read correctly (results in 5-5-5-18). Apparently if you leave it on SPD you will be stable, but I haven't had time to run Memtest using SPD yet.

I got an error after one hour of testing. I have been running with the manual settings and not been having problems even overclocked to 3.2ghz with Orthos (one hour stable). This is a pretty strange little problem.

If you can help us test please use the rated speed of 5-5-5-12 at stock CPU speeds and use the rated Vmem(1.9v)...
