At last! Now I'm waiting for tests
RiG1: Ryzen 7 1700 @4.0GHz 1.39V, Asus X370 Prime, G.Skill RipJaws 2x8GB 3200MHz CL14 Samsung B-die, TuL Vega 56 Stock, Samsung SS805 100GB SLC SDD (OS Drive) + 512GB Evo 850 SSD (2nd OS Drive) + 3TB Seagate + 1TB Seagate, BeQuiet PowerZone 1000W
RiG2: HTPC AMD A10-7850K APU, 2x8GB Kingstone HyperX 2400C12, AsRock FM2A88M Extreme4+, 128GB SSD + 640GB Samsung 7200, LG Blu-ray Recorder, Thermaltake BACH, Hiper 4M880 880W PSU
SmartPhone Samsung Galaxy S7 EDGE
XBONE paired with 55'' Samsung LED 3D TV
128bit memory bus? doh!
So I am guessing its a 8 pipe / 24 shader card, seeing that the x1950pro is 12pipe/36shaders?

It's not "8 pipe" it's 12 shader PIPE, and 8 ROP's. Also 8 Texture Units!
Same goes for X1950 Pro (36 shader PIPES, 12 ROP's, and 12 Texture Units)
the term 'pipe' doesn't directly apply to any of the current generation architectures.Originally Posted by Nedjo
this is a 8/8/24 part, so you could see it as an 8 pipe card with 3 pixel shaders per pipe, or a 24 pipe card that shares rop and texture units in a 3:1 ratio - it's the same thing.
I think of it as a 8 pipe card, and the x1900's as 16 pipe cards, but also consider the number of pixel shaders ie. r520 is 16(16), r560 is 8(24), r570 is 12(36), and r580 is 16(48).

Nope. It's ati testing their new bridged crossfire and hoping to have the drivers perfected (ha ha *ahem*) by the time R600 launches.Originally Posted by Caparroz

Well, if thats the case ATI have the 1950pro for that. RV560 will sell for what, $149? Who in hell will buy that when you got both 7900gs and 1950pro for $20ish more? Let alone two of them...Originally Posted by perkam

initially they'll be going at close to $169 and $179...that's just initial price gouging...by the time the r6xx full line of cards launch in 2007...they'll be a cheap killer combo for those looking for powerful dx9 performance.Originally Posted by Caparroz
Remember that the x1650xt will become MORE attractive when its replacement launches...mainly because ATi loves to release crippled cards first on new tech and then update them (X1600xt to X1650XT)...so the X2600XT has a higher chance of being a dx10 x1300 than a dx10 x1900...

Under Zero
It's amazing...the x1950pro gets ~60fps avg consistently in almost all games at 1600x1200 w/ 4xaa....makes me want to buy an x1650xt and kick it out the window.

Damn those NVIDIA fanboys
It is X1650XT VS 7600gt / X1650pro vs 7600GS
Not X1650pro VS 7600gt
And did you notice the typo
It makes me sick how they singled out this review and they did not even mention the x1650XT
P.S I am talking about NVnews not hardocp
