    Arrow am2tools [ddr2 dividers + temp]

Ok I needed more info about the dividers for my orleans 3000+ oc, there are already a couple of tools available (mostly http://math.gogar.com/athlon64.cgi?showtable=1 and http://xtremesystems.org/forums/show....php?p=1558321 ) but i always prefer single exe's [binaries ]. So I did this.

Check it, report wrong numbers [if any]
it's 175kb, no dependencies [single exe]

*Now with temp reading á lá coretemp*

    screenie:

I hope its useful to anybody.

    updated [v0.70]

    - window appears center-screen
    - also shows cpu/core final mhz result.

    updated [v0.83]

    - some aesthetics
    - icon
    - longer bars for higher precision on HTT

    updated [v0.90] 1-nov-06

    - As entering an exact htt number with the mouse may me dificult, you can now click on the htt mhz and enter exact numbers.
    - Added combobox with some Orleans default values, will show "custom" when changed.

    updated [v1.10] 12-jan-07

    - Added Cpu Temp reading.
    - Filled cpu list.
    - lots of small fixes

really nice tool. been waiting for something like this. seems pretty correct for me so far.

it would be nice though to have the cpu clock speed that would result as well. so you dont have to get out the calculator.

I will probably add the rest of the am2 line to the dropdown menu, but that would do for now.

    I'm still open for suggestions

Hey, nice tool, but Brisbane 3600+ with 400 divider is off. The actual divider is 10, but your tool reports it as 9.

Well core readings are off for Brisbanes in all Core temperature programs. I think AMD changed something and hasn't updated their documentation.

ok my bad on the dividers, now they should all be correct. The fact that x.5 dividers were used broke the way i was doing the calc [damn integers]. Fixed

About the brisbane temp, could anyone with one check if the delta is fixed against other temp programs?

[for example, if this always says 3° like in the screenshot while the correct is 43°, and then on load is 8° here while 48° on other tool, that would be a fixed 40 delta]

Otherwise i'll have to check what others are doing about this.

    links point to lastest version.

I think something buggy is going on with his temps, mine just read low. This has been verified in most software that reads core temperatures, your program, CoreTemp, and SpeedFans core temperature are all about 15C off. I think AMD did change the constant without telling anyone, problem is that there is no accurate Core Temperature reader to compare and find out exactly what the delta is.

My mobo sensor is reporting 49-50C as my load temp wherease CoreTemp and your utility report 35,36 C.

(sorry for the delay anyway, exams and all that)

    update v1.20

*all brisbane used .5x multipliers added
*as pointed by funnyperson1, 9.5x with ddr533 should give 7, even if that makes it 542mhz, over the 533mhz default "limit".

I assumed it was 8 due to that. (i don't have a brisbane). All values should now be correct, please report otherwise.
