And now to my real pride and joy, my g.skill ram.

This is the stuff i won in the Signature contest, its not cherry picked but i did get some amazing heatspreaders:

And to give you an idea of what it can do, i am still tweaking right now, these damn 32m runs take forever:

That was at 2.75v but i dont think it needs it for these timings, i just maxed it out and im lowering as we speak.

    Thanks again G.Skill!

    Very nice rev!
Dont show any more pics of that ram, it could have been my ram :P
But I am very happy with my HZ too, though it has black heatspreaders

Cpu temps would be interesting at those volts on air.
Have you tried running 03? Thats the 3D Mark you can run with worst cpu clocks.

Verry impressive, im kicking myself in the bawls now too for not getting a p5b and a 6400, but my budget at the time was ponly long enough for DS3 and 6300

I love the timings, what are gonna be your 24/7 timings and volte etc etc etc...

The thing was the cpu couldnt take the volts because the heat was so bad, i lost over 10c because of the lapping, it was concave so the wole center of the cpu wasnt making contact.

my loaded was reaching over 78 before with 1.55 now i think orthos gives me 77 with 1.706v(DMM reading) measured with core temp...pi temps are lower i dont watch so much, just my stability, so i cant tell exactly my numbers, but the point is its very worth it once the volts come into play, before that not so much imo.

You still have a very good combo!!

My 24/7 setup ive been running all last week, it will be like this:

    8x450 = 3600mhz
    1:1 Ram 3-4-3-4
    1.5vcore
    2.45vdimm
    1.6vmch

Im still tightening my timings, at 490 ive shaved a full 20s off my 32m score so far. (i dropped the multi so nothing special, but every .001 counts eh?

Hmm i dont really like 03 much, cpu clocks dont seem to make much difference in it. thats why i like 05, i can watch my system improve, similar to super pi times.

Id feel the same about 01 but i dont know how to tweak it so its not really fun for me.

CPU is from newegg... i could do 3.8 24/7 with high voltage but i prefer to run 3.6 with safer volts i think.
