there is no vmod and no coldbug up to -36, it's only SS, voltage adjustment with ati tool only.

Incredible
Smaller framebuffer should help the OC. Are you running max vddci? If you do not have black artifacting there is room for more voltage to the mem also.
Verry impressive..

That means that 256mb x1900xt is a good deal and average user can overclock the memory up to 1800 MHz effective at least with no problemsOriginally Posted by zbogorgon

thx, vddci was all the way up, there were a few articafts during benching,Originally Posted by Kinc
it has potential, but on water cooling i benched at 780/780, so rams were pretty bad, but i suspect Ati Tool for that.Originally Posted by kemo6600

I'm using a x1900xt 256mb too, with watercooling. Not getting great clocks at all and I have problem getting ATi tool to work properly. :<
how come nobody uses the stock CCC to OC it? I got a 256mb Saphire X1900XT as well, and I just OC it a little with the ACI overdrive thing...running 660/750:
is there something I'm missing?? is CCC not good enough?

I guess the question is this:
If you are not planning to do a lot of 2D intensive stuff, just your basic internet browsing, etc, and you just play 3D games (Quake4, doom3, oblivion, etc), then what does one gain from OCing this card using ATItool vs the ATI CCC overdrive tab?
If I use the ATI overdrive in CCC, doesn't that set the 3D ranges as well as the ATI tool, when doing 3D games?

What voltage did you use when you got that high, I've got some problems getting the mem speed up, running 781mhz right now, want to hit 800.![]()
*double post*
i set my memory voltage to 2.088 via ATi Tool. running at 715/801. on the 512 models, the memory ran around that voltage in 3D mode, so i guessed it should be safe.
