    Testing Conroe x6800 under watercooling

We got this nice x6800 and ram kit from OPB (thanks man)

We did some preliminary testing on water

Motherboard: ASUS P5W64 WS Pro, 0004 bios
    Ram: TEam 667 3 3 3 8 ddr2 2x1 GB
    Processor: X6800 oem b2
    Cooling: Water

    Ram at 1:1 3 3 3 8
    Vcore 1.56v
No mods, nor water on nb, yet.

We are really noobs on 775 conroe, but looks like we are learning fast.

This proc will go in a lianli v2000 with 7900gtx sli under @itor high perf. water, and a SS made by me. We will test it under phase in 15 days I think.

    Thanks guys!
I'm aiming at 4500mhz 24/7, a little too optimistic maybe?
I think we have to learn a lot about Intel again, it was at least weird, we run spi 8m (not 32 becuase of time, was at 4am) at 4050mhz, but we can't get a max oc screen over 4100, there is a wal in there with water, and I think the wal is the ebsense of knoledge , so, we have a week to learn before we get the v2000 ready for primetime under phase.

Looks like a nice chip. Tweaking does help. This is my X6800 on air with the P5W64-WS Pro. Was using 1.575v. Heat is the only thing preventing it from going higher. Temps get very hot on the X6800 once you start raising VCore above 1.5v.

X6800's can be so-so on air or water. But some of them will really take off once frozen.
