    Die Size: 975X vs P/G965

The Intel 975X chipset seems to be absolutely dwarfed by the newer P/G965 chipset. Here are a couple of pictures showing what I mean. Maybe the chipset used on the Asus P5B (965) is a G965 chipset with the onboard graphics disabled. One thing is for certain, this is the biggest Intel chipset die that I have ever seen. [975X is from a P5W DH, P/G965 is froma P5B]

I also noticed it. I think Intel really maked work of the IGP. Also CPU-Z identifies my chipset as 965P/965G
