It has notices about C1E and the other thing obstructing your ability to raise the vCore. And it makes the in-BIOS flasher lock. lol

Can't report on anything else atm ... I'm having some major difficulties with my setup

those 2 reminders are the only visible diference i could see.

going to OC, to see if there's any substancial diference from the previous bios.

Jebus, I wish ASUS would spend a few dollars proofing their English copy with someone that actually speaks the language. It appears that they use Google Translate to generate the English copy.

"Enable EIST. You may not adjust Vcore."

Interpreted literally, the lay-user will understand that as two separate statements. One advising that EIST should be enabled. And the other stating that Vcore may not be adjusted.

"You may not adjust Vcore while EIST is enabled."

ASUS: you can have that one for free.

    no mate

No bios yet has let me boot over 370fsb without enabled spd timings (5-6-6-18)

It's quite a common issue, maybe ram, maybe mobo.. don't really know..

Mine's always posted over 400 manual memory timings with any of the bios versions, so I dunno.

Wait, so it doesn't let you disable SPD?

I also changed my ram from slot 1,3 to 2,4. Try that see if it works

I use 1,3 - but gonna give 2,4 a shot one day, maybe its one of those "voodoo" things that gains more mhz
