While installing a 40mm fan at my P5B Deluxe south bridge, noticed that it has a different clock generator from common well known like ICS series, it is a square chip near backup battery labeled CY2855ILFC

Just out of curiosity, did Google around and found out the manucfacturer is Cypres Semiconductor. Is this a well known company ?

Any "true" Electronic Engineer out there mind to comment or explain if this clock generator chip is special ? or its just like others without any fun part for OCer ?
