    E6400 stock, 28 second HOW?



    my system:
    E6400 stock.
    DFI Infinity 975X
    X1800GTO.
    1 Giga Twinmos 667MHZ .

    I work with 1 stick of giga.

    I tried anything to make it lower to normal, but nothing.
    Can it be becuase i work with 1 stick?
    if I will add another one ,it will be lower?

    how about you just overclock it to 3.2ghz and have it at 16 seconds?

    You run the ram at DDR2-667 5-5-5-15 and you STILL have to ask about the low superpi ?

    I thought the clocks doesnt matter in conroe systems..
    Am I worng?:S

    FYI, my E6300 at stock does 28.xxx with RAM @ 888 Mhz 4-4-4-9. Tighten those timings.

    True...though KITT, the difference being you have D9s...he doesn't :p

    At the very least hough...DDR2667 should be running at cas 4 IMO.

    I'm just saying that timings will make quite a bit of a difference I gained around 2 secs from changing to 4-4-4-8 from defaults of 5-6-6-18 as set by the mobo

    Clocks *DO* matter.
    ESPECIALLY in Conroe systems, which are at LEAST twice as fast as a P4 clock for clock.

    You might be thinking of RAM clocks (timings); they aren't AS important as they were before, but they still make a difference.
