Wow man, that's an awesome PSU that I'd love to have. Too bad it's a little on the expansive side for me . Could you please tell me how loud it is, maybe a subjective comparison with something we all know? That might convince me of buying one eventually...

Looks like a very good but loud power supply.

Well, just for benching must be an excellent PSU.

Yeah prolly just as silent as the moment that it hits the ground

If I have a system that is cooled by water, with a couple of YLs, then this PSU would still be the thing that would be noticed over all the other system noise, right?

helmore yes. Definetley. However it's going to get really loud if your drawing 60 amps... however I doubt th load is that much. Therefore it's going to be decent.

Do you have the a Zippy Gaming power? Well I don't mind a little noise, as long as I won't hear it once I'm outside of my room and my computer is just standing almost right behind my door so I do hear it outside of my room atm. But I have to admit, it's still on stock cooling and stuff so I can still do many things about it.

G1 and OEM Version are the same specs, only differences are black enclosure and sleeving cables, how much is it cost for G1?

I heard that you can't get a G1 in the US, I'm lucky cuz I live in Europe but it will prolly still cost me a limb or two.

You won't be able to buy a Gaming Power like this one in the US. But you can order Zippy PSUs at ServerCase.com. (That PSU is the exact same model as the Gaming Power as coolaler has but it's not black and the cables aren't sleeved.)

It's nice to see that you can have the option to buy a sleeved cable version. There were just so many cables with so many different colors on my Zippy 700W that I had to get it sleeved or I was going to go crazy.

This 850W version may be a nice upgrade for the Zippy 700W users that may upgrade to new Crossfire cards.

Hmm

I just received my unit today and it doesn't have Sata HD connectors. just your usual connectors (molex, 24mobo, 4pin, 4pin header, and pci-e)

psl-p6850 emac.

dont have the fancy easy push-pull molex's and its using all the old school white plastic connectors. not sleeved and anodised that robot gray.

otherwise, everything seems to be the same.

I'm gonna fan mod it soon so i'll see what the inside looks like...

P.S. Nice pics.
