    G.Skill HZ PC6400 rated at 400MHz 4-4-4-12 2.1-2.2v

    2.2vdimm - 500MHz 32M SuperPI

    2.2vdimm - 502.50MHz 32M SuperPI

    max for 2.2vdimm so far - 506.20MHz 8M SuperPI

why do you wish you had step 5

do you think step5 will give you higher FSB.........i'd say you're mobo limited rather than CPU.............i mean they are great CPUs and all but your issue is mobo i reckon with limited FSB

ok let's do some priming now ...........stopped at default vcore, 2.1vdimm and dead slow fan so i bumped fan to max, 2.2vdimm (~480 was 2.1vdimm limit so probably that was the cause but anyways) and bumped vcore to 1.35v in bios

1 Hour Prime Stable at 480MHz FSB 3360MHz

no, the retails aren't as good as the stepping 5's. Most of them are crapping out around 3.4 ghz or thereabouts (requiring 1.5 volts plus)

Rock On, dinos! Lots of screens and lots of 32M... Great results so far, including 2GBHZ @ DDR-1052 12-4-4-4.0, 2.3v

Can you do me a big a$$ favor... Once you're done finding max for your mems, would you compare for me 32M @ 400x7 1:1 (DDR-800 12-4-4-4.0) vs 400x7 4:5 (DDR-1066 12-4-4-4.0), plizzzz

    thanks mate

this motherboard is a bit of a funny one when it comes to RAM.......i don't think i've maxed them out yet and last night i tried to replicate the 525MHz 2.3v but it didn't like it.........i'll do some testing for sure

you basically want to see how the RATIO 2.0 and 2.5 compare right? I'll drop it down to 380 or so until i figure out what i can't repeat results with 2.3v.........

Damn dinos, can I fly down there for training?

I can't get the damn board to post past 390... Once booted I can Setfsb to 'bout 460 but that the end of the party... Nice work!

Man, those are just some fantastic results!

    I like the HZ's at DDR2-1000 w/2.2v as well

BTW, did the HZ's boot on that board OK with 1.8v?
