DS3 + allendale, bios pics to boot @ 490 default vmch

    Setup:

    E6300
    Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 F4a bios
    Corsair 8000UL D9 (yellow slots)
Active RAM and NB cooling, I have 80mm and 120mm fans at 5V
    Big Typhoon cpu cooler
    PCI 2MB video
    FSP Epsilon 700W
    2x74 raptor raid + 250GB + 80GB storage

I can boot into windows at 7x490 and default vmch, and need only +.1V for some stability.

System is at least 4 hours Rosetta stable at 7x480 and at least 2 hours 3d stable. Still testing...

Unfortunately FSB wall at 497 no matter what settings. I will run DICE on cpu and chipset in a few days

Here are bios settings you might try:

    EDIT:
Quick SP 32M run at 3.4Ghz

Is the refresh to act delay zero by default or did you set that?

This is on air but booting at 490 is not a good idea since sometimes it resets settings.

I can confirm that there is no cold boot problem at 475 even after 8 hours of sleep

Yep, act delay is 0 in bios by default

I can hit 495 stable tested with prime for 3-4 hours no error whatsoever, with only +0.1 vmch (yeah, I read your in your other post last two days and give it a try and yay!! it works ) but still I can't go beyond 495, the time at windows loading screen (the one show the Microsoft logos and loading indicator) it will reboot again and again and again

btw I'm using DS3, damn this board is good comes with cheap price and solid performance and still using BIOS F3 not yet upgraded to F4c

Allendales are the best bang for buck evar!

    btw,
When capturing bios screens you'll get better images if you shoot from ~1.5m distance and use zoom. The images will be much less barrelized.
But of course, it's the contents of these pics that are the point not the image quality.

And always shoot CRT/LCD without flash.
    Sorry for the rant.
You were not supposed to see this.

105 just to make sure nothing is messing up by auto settings. I don't like auto, I will setup memory subtimings as well to something other than auto

    Haha.. Well thanks!
Heard something bout Conroes clocking bader than ES-editions, bur it doesn't seem to be the case with Allendales, if there is a problem with retails and clocking at all..
