Is it safe to do 2.25V for 24/7 usage. I heard this will kill the mosfet.

FCG did, here about Boostedevo's BadAxe dying while he was running ddr2-1140 @ 2.5V

two things:

1. 2.5v > 2.25v
2. when overclocking, it's not just the cpu, gpu and ram temps that matter. you gotta keep an eye on EVERYTHING on the board. i just found out a few days ago that my MSI K9N has two mosfets in the memory regulation that get quite hot (one was over 85c) when over 2.2v. what did i do? sink them. i'm sure the board will last much longer now

now back to your regular TeamGroup programming
