watercooled retail X6800 on ASUS P5W-DH

Here are my results so far. Keep in mind that this is meant to be a 24/7 rig along the line of mdzcpa's build.
    The system configuration:
    Retail X6800
    P5W-DH Deluxe BIOS version 0701
X1900XT and X1900XTX in Crossfire mode and watercooled in seperate loop
2 Raptor 150 hard drives in raid 0
    X-Fi Platinum sound
PC Power and Cooling 1000 watt psu
    OCZ PC2 8000 memory
The waterblock on the cpu is the Swiftech Storm.

    More to come....

I'm using an MCP655 waterpump, Thermochill PA120 radiator mounted externally with a radbox, and a second Swiftech single 120mm fan radiator mounted inside my case.

i say temps are normal here's my E6600 on Badaxe at 3600mhz at 1.371v Swiftech G4 Storm with Thermochill 120.3 and MCP650

    Room temp = 23-25C

Interesting the temps are a bit off for me by 4C between Intel DCC vs Coretemp

Intel DCC shows actual bios option values you set for vcore, vdimm, mch, fsb etc not the actual readings. For example 1.4v vcore in Intel DCC = 1.371v vcore reading in bios.

    Load temps dual stressprime

Thanks for the confirmation of these temperatures eva2000. I was beginning to worry based upon the reaction to these temps from some of the guys around here. I will try to reach 4 ghz with a multiplier of 15 today just to see what kind of temps this produces. I'm not having any luck raising the FSB to near 400 while lowering the multi to 9 0r 10
Here's a pic of my setup:

Anyone got any phase results on the retails? note to self: Must order a 775 clamshell kit.

Looks like plan A to stick a 6700 under Vapo LS is looking essential.

should have a retail 6800 (egg) under a Storm G5 tonight...
id assume ill have it under the Chilly1 SS within the week
and hope to do a D-Ice run not too far behind that

wonder how the IHS's are on these...dont really want to lap the stepping off but will if i have to

after enjoying Yonah temps for a while there its sad to see these "Press-HOT-esk" temps return

How are people getting such high OCs on air when this thing is blazing hot on a water setup like yours?

high OCs on air = the better Rev 5 step B1 ES chips

hot = X6800 retail (Rev 6 step B2) so far.

It was only a fix for RAID5 afaik, but it seems to have hamstrung these chips quite a bit.

    More data still desired.
