    PW5 DH bios for Conroe's stepping 5..

    I tried all bioses for this board and all gave me blank screen...... only this one work so far..http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...5&postcount=10

    Seems that Asus has to improve their bios since some people describe different issues with their P5W DH . I ordered one but with mature bios , this board should kick some ass

    It is my third rig Asus + Intel and never regret that couple not the same when I had MSI boards from my experience ( although Coolaler seemed to have no pb with his MSi )

    And from what I 've seen , P5W DH takes advantage of its availibility

    biosdate 25/06/06 or so.

    I have a stepping 5 chip and was gonna order this mobo.
    Will I face a blank screen?

    I have no spare cpu to flash the bios with !

    According to my reseller , owners of stepping 5 chips will have to flash bios

    Should all retail P5W DH Deluxe ship with the new bios for Conroe Stepping 5?

    In Hong Kong the new stock will release today. It will be bad if these new stock won't be Conroe Stepping 5 ready.

    Heres with stock pentium D's HSF and 1.47Vcore...

    My card is bugging @ over 310Mhz fsb.. using 0065 bios. link to 0078 bios? I dont want to risk a cpu switch again, taking out a tower 120 in a lian li is hell...
