    OCZ PC2-8000 EL 2x1GB Platinum edition XTC

    hi....

    new top by ocz for ddr2



    Config:.

    P4 631 zalman 7000 cooled
    Asus p5wd2-e 975
    OCZ PC2-8000 EL 2x1GB Platinum edition XTC............... thanx Joe
    S.O. win 2003 server

    all test @ 2.4 v

    4434 (with 4444 only 1 mhz +)






    4334





    3334 447 Mhz





    max screen @ 5555

    Losen the TRAS and it will clock higher, awesome result though

    sorry man...but... don't you think we tried to losen the Tras to get higher clock? if we posted this scores if because this is the best that this kit can do!

    *Anyway, is Tras very important in terms of Speed and Bandwidth in DDRII ? Because it doesn't seem to make a difference in all the DDR clocking i have done so far ...

    One of the best kit of 2GB DDR2 I have seen.

    TRAS is important, at high speed to tight a TRAS will force pages to close to quicky, this will either show as errors or limit the overclock.

    Tune the TRAS by finding the settings that give the best bandwidth and stability and choose the highest of those settings.

    I am still playing with My Pc2-8000 but with an AM2 4800+

    Play with timings. it makes a BIG difference

    edit: OOPs.. just saw yours is a 2GB kit and mine is a 1GB kit

    I have never seen someone do 10GB/s before, yikes!!! My 7GB/s KVR better hold it's hat!
