P.S. Maybe make it a sticky?

Nice one. Conroe and SLI seems to lose out to Conroe and Crossfire. Looks like the 975X chipset and Crossfire is the safe bet. Pity I've so many nVidia cards!

Asrock 775Twins-HDTV R2.0 - supports DDR as well, will be good for those upgrading from an a64, the next asrock dual sata2?

Nice list, Skyline GT-R

Can't the 975x chipset run SLI...just nVIDIA doesn't officially support it? I know that's true for the 955x chipset and I thought I it was true for the 975x too.

Great thread especially with the links. Can it be made a sticky?

It would be good if a column could be added showing sources of availability/price when these boards start showing up.

Great thread especially with the links. Can it be made a sticky?

It would be good if a column could be added showing sources of availability/price when these boards start showing up.
I am working on that, but that info is very hard to find... I can tell you none of those boards are available except the Bad Axe, but not all are Rev 304... And the 965 board are expected to be released end of june

Great last, cant wait to get my hands on a DFI s775, anyone kno the release date for the DFIs? I heard the RD600 Chipset supports DDR3 RAM (on the new Conroe mobos). I also found an article that DDR3 may be ready to buy in 06 while another site said 07, 08. Heres some of the articles i found (i just yahoo searched it so dont go all ballistic on me if the articles are crap):

Mass Production of 975X in June, RD600/SLI in August. Hopefully that means we will get them in those same months.

RD600 is supposed to support DDR3 (source), as you can see, the dfi roadmap shows DDR2, so I am wondering if DDR2 and DDR3 are implemented on the chipset.
I'm sure DFI will go DDR3 when it makes sense (ie the performance is there and the pricing/availability)

Geil is showing off a DDR3 sample at Computex in June. I say we see it by the end of the year, but that is just an educated personal guess.

This is gonna be fun

might I suggest only linking the ones that are availiable for purchase, at least for now? It would be easier for people trying to buy...

looking at the asrock mobos ATI-200 and the 865 boards. i wonder if conroe will be better off with DDR vs DDR2. The only down side is the 865 is AGP not pci-e and the ATI-200 might not be a good ocer. Time will tell, im looking at the ati-200 as i have some left over DDR. The only bigger down side with the asrock mobo's is the lack of BIOS cpu voltage options. That will leave us with "Penning" the cpu for more voltage.
