    Fx-39...

hey there... i just get my SanDiego 3700+ (ADA3700DAA53N KAB2E 0549BPBW 1382149L50031). it is not realy the best (max. primestable at 2.6ghz with water). so i tried unter a vapo-chill at -50C > coldbug.... now i put it back to my dfi-ultra-d board and i'm realy surprised:

with 3 other mainboards, still the same.... bios updates or other reading programs have no effect...

    the max. cpu-z validation at 1.71V: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=96299

so i ask, can i produce FX-39 processors and is this a worldrecord, because i'm probably the only one with a FX-39?

    does someone know this problem?

    I SWEAR, IT'S NO FAKE!!!

    Awesome! Any unlocked multi's?
In short, both AMD and NVIDIA discovered that their next-generation graphics cards are superior to each others' last-generation graphics cards.

According to the Revision Guide for AMD Athlon™ 64 and AMD Opteron™ Processors Revision Guide for AMD Athlon™ 64 and AMD Opteron™ Processors Brand ID of 36 (24h) belongs to the AMD Athlon FX processor.

OK, what do we have? The model number is 39 and BrandId number is 36. So, 12-bit BrandId field is 100100_001111, where 100100 is 36, 001111 is the base field of the model number of the processor. Using the base, let calculate the model number by the following equations:

    AMD Athlon 64: base+22=15+22=37 ~ 3700+
    AMD Athlon 64 FX: base+24=15+24=39 ~ FX-39

As we see, there is an undocumented method to reprogram the first 6 bits of the BrandId to change a class of the processor, but there is no way to change its base – a model number.

    Any questions?
