Just in case if you can´t read the instructions from the picture:

Solder a 10k variable resistor between the spot (pointed by the arrow) and ground. The alternative soldering spot is marked with blue X.

Lower resistance means higher DDR2 VDD.

I highly recommend that you use the alternative soldering spot.
Soldering directly to the IC leg is easier and safer, since the primary soldering spot is quite small.



Damn, I love this board

Vcore, Vdroop & MCH VDD mods will follow soon.
I have already done FSB Termination mod, but it has no effect to overclockability.

and the max i can only go up to 2.28v....

That seems pretty weird.
Did you use the same ground spot that I did?
2.7k ohms should equal 2.5V with 2.2V bios option.

Up, on first photo. It's Pin4 (GND) on SC2612E.

If you want, you can double-check for yourself by poking around with a multimeter, while system is OFF, using Continuity feature of your DMM - put black probe to ground (e.g. screw hole or other ground you know) and touch that Pin4 with red probe. If it beeps, then it means circuit is closed, which confirms what you need
If your DMM doesn't have this feature selectable (beeping), which I doubt, you can still do it by simply switching it to Ohm Mode and doing the same thing described above. If circuit is open, DMM will show Infinity and If it's closed (which confirms ground, in this case) it will show a reading of 0 Ohm.
