Dfi's new x48 model THE X48 DK T2RSB

Slightly more expensive than the current X48 DK? I think I'd pass if that's the case, as the current DK is only "marginally" cheaper than the LT (~30€) and UT (~50€) here in Germany/Europe.

Slightly OT, but does anyone know if the P45 DK will get the same treatment, beefier 6-phase PWM etc., with the "PLUS" version?

Yes it will, There will be a P45 T2RSB+ AND p45 dk t3rs, all im allowed to say, I am working on the design with DFI for the P45 T3RS at this moment in time. All I am allowed to say, NDA's and all that.

I cannot say for sure on the price, but I can find out for you, will let you know tomorrow 24/7/08

Exports are due next week according to sources at DFI. I know Enta in the UK getS them next week, so I presume the saMe time for you buddy! The board is physically ready!

In my opinion it corrects most of the issues with the X48 T2RS that I found in my review. Note I did not have much to do with the x48 T2RS, lol I cannot review a board that I had a hand in=conflict of interest.

What I actually had a hand in was developing an improved version of the X48TRS heat sink array and working on the ABS. Other than that thats it.

I should be getting a sample next week to check on, will let you know how it performs ASAP.

OH and you all heard it from me first.......... watch out for knock out bios from DFI for the P45 T2RS, Oscar and his team have been busy= 640FSB .....all im allowed to say until testing has been completed.

Funny you should mention this mate, just been looking at the box packaging today for this board and a few other stuff.

What I can say is the JNR is a 4-phase digital PWM but thats cool for a M-atx board. I have not had much to do with the design of the board itself, but I am hoping for a sample from DFI to test ASAP! Best guess for the p45 JNR is the next 2-3 weeks!

I can say without bias, the p45 JNR looks awesome for a M-ATX, looking forward to benching it myself, so if we combine the P45 DK JNR with the ABS it should be a winner!

I will be in touch with DFI again tomorrow, to chase up!

I cannot answer that bud, I concentrate on the Intel side!

I will have a word with Oscar Wu and Jarry tomorrow (Oscar does Bios, Jarry layout) to look into these issues

Let me first look into the x48 t2rsb plus and the p45 jnr more !

Hopefully I will have some decent images and will be allowed to publish full specs/packaging etc, but I cannot promise

I am interested to hear about this p45 dk bios doing 640x6fsb!

THE x48 I got 484x9.5 out of it on a 8500 wolfie
THe P45 T2RS I have 490x9.5 and since they are both 4-phase digital then possibly the will OC the same, will let you know as soon as I have one.

Oh and even the cooling is much the same, it seems the only differnce is lack of the extra PCI sockets.

While I prefer the colors of my LT X48-T2R, the orange and black scheme isn't all bad either... Plz post a pic of you're Dfi DK inspired case.
