tictac, is there anyway you could mod a bios for the nf7 so that we can turn CPC(command per clock) off? I've heard that on the dfi boards, turning that off lets some users with double sided mem get a lot higher on the fsb.

You'll just have to find out what works best with you board, some boards prefer the D10's some the the D22. i've flashed almost every bios tictac made. they'er all safe. My board prefered D14 & later but wouldnt run on D10's. good luck.

Oh... I don't even know where to start since there are so many. Is there a popular one many people like?

Just download the flash utility save your old bios and start flashing. Start with the D10, if it isnt stable you know to start at D14 and later. First see how high you can push the fsb with the bios that came with the board. document your progress with each bios you try. then go back to the one that worked best. dont forget to shut down after you flash then reset the cmos before restarting. good luck.

Some of the Favorites are the d10beta2 or beta4, and the d22A1betaking or turbo.

not possible with bios. You need to cut a certain bridge to change it into a mobile, i believe.

can anyone tell me about the bios's temp readings? which is most accurate for most people?

I'd like to flash to a modded 22, but I'd sure want to know when my temps go too high, thanks

i think the d18-22 are the most accurate. 10 is way too high and the 14 was a little too low.

No problem, I know how hard it is to find things some times. Tictac did all the work, I just cut and paste, and do a little beta testing.

Some of the Favorites are the d10beta2 or beta4, and the d22A1betaking or turbo. So with these bioses the multi is unlocked?

You CANNOT unlock a factory locked CPU (most desktop week 39~ or later CPUs). No different bios or mobo can help.
Your only "last resort" is to make it a mobile by connecting sum bridges (or sumthing like that) but afaik that didn't prove to be too effective.

I should have said Thanx to you and the friends of yours that came up with these bioses.......
I don't want to leave anyone out, you were the front man, so I thanked you.
Tell TicTac we are very appreciative of his efforts, and again my thanks go to you for handing them to the fine folks here at Xtreme.

Its cause your higher multies are locked, One of my nf7's do the same thing. My 2100 only has multies 13 and up while my 2500 only have 12.5 and lower. There is a wire mod you can do to get higher multies. Its just the board. My other NF7 unlocks all the multies on both cpu's.
