yes, all on a table. Mosfets spread heat in their back so I think cooling the up side is less effective.Originally posted by LoWRiDeR

Makes me think I got one of these boards instead because this is about what my other PSU (Antec 403) read in the bios last night on this Infinity. This board is severely under volted, it's a week 24 NB...there's obviously more of these out there lurking...Originally posted by Iolao

just got one myself.
btw, i'm kinda confused which version of BIOS do you guy use.
the beta bios provided by Oskar_Wu or the one data 2003/11/17 on their site?
sorry I have the infinity here not the lan party
are u sure the 11-27bios is better than the one provided by oskar_wu?
if i'm not mistaken, Iolao and the rest were having problem with the 11-27 BIOS right?
YES, Use the beta bios provided by OSKAR_WU!!

but there will be a new beta soon(maybe tomorrow) which break the FSB limitation of 260MHz if you got the right dram to equip with the board .... The new beta bios also bring back the lost bandwidth when FSB > 200 MHz but multiplier lower than 10X ...

oskar_wu, what is your system spec? thanks in advance.
I've got the Lan Party NF2 - B board, with the stock bios that came with it (don't know which one)
do I need to update it to any of the new ones to allow for better overclocks? etc.
My current CPU/RAM is the bottleneck I believe. (1700+, TwinMOS PC3200 CH5 2x256)
Thanks all![]()
Rebuilding
Cool !
Btw, are there any Vmods around for this mobo ? ie, Vdimm, Vdd ?
Yes, flash with the new beta bios, released 12/12.
Oskar, why does your bandwidth efficiency fluctuate from so low to so high?
sandra memory buffered is cpu speed influenced; in fact scores grow when raising multiplier... it's interesting to note that when using a half multipliersscore boost is less then expected...Originally posted by EnJoY

where did you guys get the new 12/12 beta bios?
Bad newsMy board randomly loses lan when vcore is higher than 1.85v again... So cooling SB and mosfets didn't make me gain anything but the ability to set high vdimm and high vcore together for bench while I was having reboots and blue screens before; it seems moreover, as stated by others, that highering vcore reduces ram oc by a few mhz, that's why many of us testing ram and fsb lower multy&vcore cannot mantain the same high fsb with greater multy&vcore, setting ram down a little shoulde settle that...
i would like to know too, where you guys got this 12/12 bios. mine is 12/10 beta. this board is the bomb digity. 245x10 is where i stand so far.
some of you are right though. my board reboots occasionaly when using 2.0vcore but it's ok with 1.95.
also i've notice that at 245x10 having it set to cpu aggressive makes no difference then when it's set to optimal. any one else notice this with this board
