Nice thread, I love the way the clocks keep getting higher through the pages! You should try what fugger mentioned earlier; to disable one of the cores in BIOS and check if it clocks higher.

performance summary.
Hey, since you posted such a great ammount of data, I thought I'd plot it so folks can see the trend.
I used all of the SuperPi_!M times at various speeds and added a logarithmic trendline.
Looks like Conroe will break 15s near 3.3GHz and 10s near 4.2GHz.
Cheers!
aint gonna happen before 65nm, i hope amd will have a surprise for us with 65 otherwise i am taken the intel routeOriginally Posted by mongoled

why isn't this a sticky yet...good data...

I'm still waiting for clarification, there's no voltage control, and the maximum overclock was due to mobo FSB limitation?
I also wanna know the temps
And where it can prime at.

Amazing
Only add 2MB extra because of his ES

Can you go any further with passive air coolaler? Maybe you should add a fan there and get 3.5ghz? :P
Intel FTW!

I sure don't want him to stop and see where it primes.Originally Posted by Absolute_0

Keep watching and sooner or latter you will find what your looking for. Coolaler has given us a pile of ss.![]()
MMMM..... Passive CPU Finally...
The fan dircted on MB is to remove any heat build up around mosfets and stuff, right?

Coolalerits time for voltage adjustment and aircooled! (frost even better

OH! Where do you think this will end up coolaler? At 450FSB with a fan on the Tuniq? :P
Intel FTW!

I'm very interested whether it is the chip of fsb that is topping out.
What's the word on this coolaler?

Guys the cooler is a very ordinary Tuniq Tower120. It's got a 120mm fan inside.
You should do a vmod asap coolalerThanks for the results

Thanks for such comprehensive results. That is an amazing chip. Can't wait for what's to come with them.
CPU-Z says it got 4 MB cache, but I thought the E6400 only got 2 MB?
It's true, take a look http://www.tuniq.com.tw/Cooler%20Info/Tower-120.htmOriginally Posted by Staucher
Thanks Coolaler!!
It's not a passive cooler. There is a120mm fan inside (probably a high performance one).Originally Posted by NiCKE^
