Any idea if the new HP3200's are hitting the same 250+ Cas 2.5 settings as the old ones? Thanks!

Alright...first experience with Mushkin RMA and it was great. Of course, I had help from above (read: Duonger), but I expect it would still be great anyway.

Now to figure out whether or not I want to send in only the completely dead stick or both...I was given the option.

    Anyway...

going to be doing the same unfortunately.. Got the impression that these new sticks were going to be at or slightly lower than the $300 mark..

    Duonger,

Does Mushkin still have the RMA policy where if the sticks are bought from someone else, you cant RMA?

I'm using Redline 4x512 and having some problems. I have the DFI SLI-DR board, FX57, OCZ 520W power supply, Zalman 7700 fan, and 510-2fixed bios. I've got the sticks cooled with a 80mm fan at 3.5-3.6V. I'm running the sticks at 2-2-2-6 at 214x14 = 3000. I've also tried 250x12=3000. I don't want to loosen the timings too much b/c I've seen others getting 250 with a stable 32M pi at 2-2-2-6.

Do I have to change the voltage on my 3.3V rail to handle the 3.6V I'm sending it? Smart Guardian is telling me 3.21V. I know a realistic OC for the FX57 should be around 3050 (or 3100 but that's stretching it on air) but is the 4x512 limiting me?

Is your JP17 config right? No way you could be saying 3.5V in BIOS and only get ~3.2V unless something is seriously wrong. When you set JP17 to 2-3, it takes off your 5V line, no need to tweak your 3.3V line.

Also, set everything to auto in BIOS except 2-2-2-6

    Thanks Vapor.

Smart Guardian says my DRAM is at 3.53V and my ATX +3.3V is at 3.21V.

Where might I find the JP17?

I will try everything on auto except 2-2-2-6 (along with optimized defaults.)

Your RAM voltage is fine if SG says it's at 3.5V. JP17 is the jumper to switch to >3.2V mode.

What do you guys think about that screenies??
Samsung Value modules w/ Samsung UCCC chips, cheap and ocing stuff...
I havent read the entire thread, if it is in another page, sorry...
My screen is the first, with the two modules in dual channel, using the hardware of my sig... the other screenies are from a friend, who has a 754 rig, because of that, those are in single channel...
    Voltage used was 2.9v.
I find this modules a serious option if you want to run 2x1Gb @ 1T, because they do 2.5-3-3-6 @ 240 fully stable, and 3-4-4-8 @ 270 too...
    Post your opinions...

Wow! Very impressive! My Transcend brand Samsung UCCC didn't do anything even close to that. Voltage didn't seem to help over 2.7v. Please post a Tweaker shot and list your tref setting please.

You can read about my UCCC here.
Please get your results into the stickied 2x1GB/1x1GB OC Database.

Sorry, but I tested this modules in a LAN Party, not are mine. They are of my friend, who lives in another city, and who has a DFI Nf3 754 board, but if you want, I can ask him for a tweaker SS (but it will be in single channel mode, and at 265, he doesnt get 270 in his system...)
BTW, the only timmings tweaked were the 3-4-4-8, the rest in the DFI bios were left at stock...
Tell me if you want that tweaker screen...

Heh. You need to borrow those sticks again! Would like to see the tweaker shot even at default detect setting on your dual cahnnel mobo.

You will have to wait until September, at the next LAN Party here in Spain... xDD
Those are really amazing sticks, giving you high FSB, relatively good timmings and 2 Gb of ram in dual channel, and all of this for 260 € the two modules...
The shop that sells it here in Spain is this --> http://davidhardware.com/tienda/prod...93017a0eabd274
They have a screen of it too, but only cpu-z, not tweaker...
