Pretty sure one is a PNY, not sure about the other.
Kingpin you'll be the first to break 28k easy. Those scores are huge!

Got it Sham, 17k literally. 7900gtX's take 17k mark 06'(unofficial):
I'm done with 06' and this rig for now. This was pretty difficult actually. I think 17k is good spot to leave it at for 590SLI/7900's to tackle. Since it's stronger than 975x clock for clock in 06', it shouldnt be too tough. Especially considering my cpu might have more in it and the card clocks aren't the best they could have been. 590SLI paired up with some nicely clocked G80's might not be shabby in 06' either.
I ran this setup because it flies and to see what the 7900gtx's could do when paired up with a very capable rig. Bigto ASUS for making such a nice board to run with my gtX's
. I wonder if a couple of "crimson loveboats" in xfire can do 17k+ 06' on this mobo... Maybe no coldbug and in the right hands. We'll see.
@gag: The scores are all published along with Sham's and anyone else running modded drivers, the only way to see them is selecting "all drivers" instead of approved or wqhl in the project search.

Green and Red apples are different in some ways, but a apple is still a apple and I like em equally.

really?. Don't know what gave that impression lol. Your totally right, these things always have a way of evening themselves out. Top of the 05' and 01' orbs is tough real estate for SLI to take and hold for sure, but still great challenges. For current gen gpu-cpu/moment 7900gtx SLI is pushing the boundaries in all 3d apps atm, can't deny that.
"Crimson loveboats" belongs to sham, I stole it from him. I was hoping no one would catch on. That has got to be the best term used to describe video cards ever. I know you will be showing off some next gen power soon, looking forward to that green or red doesn't matter it's all good stuff when it comes from you.
Haha, that sounds like Sham allrightOriginally Posted by k|ngp|n

This was as tough as going for 13k was..remember that? Going for 20 points seem like going for 200. Cards are just giving me tons of bad fps/crashed runs. So hard to get good runs off. Your close behind, you def have the gpu power for it.
approx 1040/1084 or so.Originally Posted by Moonman

nice 17K on the dot
king have you compared your high FSB runs at 5GHz compared to 421 you have now
also how does high RAM MHz impact performance at CAS4

So far 1:1 with cas 3 and tightest timings possible seems to do best in most of the 3d benches, though I haven't spent too much time yet working with diff mem up dividers/looser timings like cas 4 with this p5w. The ram is capable of 4-3-3-5 around 530mhz, and 4-4-3-5 around 570mhz. The increase memory clocks at looser timings don't really make too much of a difference on this mobo for 3d. On c19 ref mobo, it made a bigger impact.Originally Posted by dinos22

I agree about the ATI cards. Cold bug really sucks if you are a big ATI fan
. ATI cards/drivers are stronger in 05' and 01', so it might not take sky high clocks to take the 01' and 05' with even x1900 out before g80 comes. X1950 without coldbug should be very capable in 01 and 05 from what I have been hearing.

Is there enough room on the P5w in the last PCI slot to install a XFI soundcard once you have the 7900gtx's installed with original heatsinks??
Sorry I missed this,Originally Posted by gmod
It's tight, but I think there is room in last pci slot for add in card but it will block the fan pretty good on the second card. If you used watercooling on the cards it would work for sure. I havent had the def coolers on there in awhile so can't rememer.
Shamino definitely can, and he was doing it way before me, so he is and will always be the NV master. Everyone else just plays catch up to him including myself.Originally Posted by BlackX
