Nice You're 11 sec faster than my 2.85 ddr1142 run at the same timings...

Might pick up this gskill kit since I need a 2gb set and they clock like hell.

Well, I have not run SP2004 for this (only 32M and moved up) but 2.3v got me SPi32M stable @ DDR2-1080 8-4-4-4.0. But I'm pretty sure, SP2004 stress would pass at this speed. Hope it helps

Hey bachus...what are the tightest timings you can get @1050mhz and 2.5v...?

edit: and why doesn't anyone use mem86 for stability?

Depends on which version your talking about, dos version sux for stability as it will pass you well higher than what is windows stable, the windows version however is pretty good, it catches errors most windows memory stability test programs would miss and usually give you and answer within 12 hours as to your stability, but obviously leaving on even longer only will go to enusure your definately stable.

    Just received mine today.

    2gb GSkill 6400 HZ S/N 0605....

It replaced 1GB of Corsair 5400ul.

I was on my P5WD2 Premium @ 2,3v (máx allowed by the mobo) with the 5400ul at 960MHz cas 4-2-3-4-2

With the GSkill the best stable is (at 960MHz) cas 4-3-4-4-2. Had to raise the 2nd and 3trd timmings.

The memory benches seens equal or a little better then the 5400ul ! Not bad for 2GB.

One objective with this Gskill's was to have 1066MHz @ CAS 4, but with only 2,3v It's not possible even tried cas 5-5-5-5 !

At least 1000MHz still at CAS 4 it seemed to handle well ... dont remember the timmings.

    The máx. stable with Corsair 5400ul @ cas 4-x-x-x was 980MHz !

Conclusion: I was afraid of loosing performance by going to 2GB of mem but I feel that's not true.

I'm happy for the price/performance ratio of this mem's.

The 1066MHz barrier is the only point that's was not acomplished need more vdimm

maybe I'm wrong then correct me if so.

Are prices likely to fall any on these in the next month or so? Just wondering whether I should buy now or hold out.
