Screen cap from first post in this thread shows bus speed of 333.4 Mhz but everest score above shows DDRII888 or mem of 444?, plus at 1T. This board seems to be doing something special or is it just me thinking that?

It is a mem ratio of 4:3 or something else?

yes, evga costs arround 250EUR in Europe,so the Stryker is in the sam price class, although ASUS usualy prices it's board a little above everybody else...
btw,is it realistic to expect the Stryker board sometime next week?

The 680i reference/nvidia built models like the evga are $269. Is the Striker worth $130 more? Really ?

very nice looking board! I like all the aluminum caps, nice layout design too.
i wonder how well the passive heat pipe design will work?
the clear cmos button is a sweet touch, as well as the lighted pwr, and rst buttons.

WHy is there an Intel 975xbx Bad Axe pic in the middle of coolaler's pics? And it seems to be a revision 306...kinda strange since the BadAxe2 is on its way to retail stores right now!

Regarding the retail package pics...does anyone else find it kinda strange a $350 motherboard doesn't include rounded ide cables? But I guess the leather key fob makes up for it?

Question: What are those two ports to the right of the PS/2 ports. The rounded orange AC adapter looking port and the gray/black covered port.

It's a "LCD Poster" diagnostic screen.

The lightbulb controls the internal LED's which light up the motherboard at "strategic points" to help you see things more clearly. It also cuts off power to the motherboard so you don't fry things.
