Just remove silver paint.
This is for me.
When I can, I have to check where my wire goes. It think it was next two points.
Sorry about confusion!

You are as good as your samples are!
I can´t do that know. Please test it if you´ve got time.Originally Posted by SF3D

So I should try to connect only this points?Originally Posted by SF3D

Yes. Those first two are already connected.
Before you do it with silver paint you can test it with wire. Just put wire from ground to other point and measure voltage. Voltage should ghange when you do this. But be careful with wire..do not touch anything else
(Arrgh, "Ich dreh´ hier grad am Rad!!!") This must be something bad![]()

I must just connect the 2 points in the picture?
I´m a little bitof this.

Test it first with wire. Connect wire from ground to one point. Measure voltage and you will see when you connect right point.
When you find the right one..you can do mod with silverpaint. It's easy.
You are as good as your samples are!
Sorry folks, but after reading this entire thread I ended not knowing which vmem mod was the wright one and tested one ?!
Any one has pics from a GTO with the mod done on it ?
To get a GTO handle well the flash of a GTX BIOS is it necessary to do the vmem mod ???? Or is it only necessary to OC the GTO beyond the GTX mem clocks ?
Thanks.

No no, the GTX-BIOS is doesn´t help.
It doesn't help ?? A friend of mine has TWO msi ones flashed to GTX and they work great ! Even @ SLI on a Abit AW9D-Max !!![]()

VGPU mod: I suggest everyone to do Vsense mod. (Also in first post)
I can't confirm this other (vgpu vid) mod at the moment, so don't try it.
This thread is confusing, but post number 1 is most important
-Cyba_Mephisto- I will send you PM.

Yes, it doesn´t. The GTO-Timings are only a little bit sharper so the little bit more OC don´t makes the GTO really faster.Originally Posted by jVIDIA
Please tell me when you completely know how the silver paint VGPU-Mod works.
I will try the VMem-Mod again with lower voltage.
I hope my can work then @ 800MHz memory clock.![]()

Hi guys, i'm waiting for my GTO from Germany!
When arrive i'll try to pencil the left resistor like you said!!!![]()
I hope works good!!![]()
Vmem mod is OK. It will work without doubt![]()

You´re from Germany, too?Originally Posted by steelmax
We can talk then in German it will be very easier.
My mem is exactly @ 1,900V.![]()
Coolbits gives my card 20MHz more mem clock.
Noo, 1,907V.
It made artifacts on 820MHz.
Without V-Mod I only get 780MHz.
EDIT: About 1 hour NO artifacts @800MHz on ATi-Tool 0.25 Beta 14.![]()

You take 780 without Vmod and 820 within?
Your Vmod is the pencil?![]()
Only 820No more?
![]()
820 is very very good but i hope to get a little bit more.![]()
I think i need to do an extreme Vmod with variable resistors to go over 820right?
No no, every memory is different.Originally Posted by steelmax

I think I become artifacts when my memory gets warmer than 43°C...
Ok next week when the card arrives i'll start with the experimentsand post everything.
I hope the site where i bougt it tell me the truth when say next week shipping![]()
Did you pencil your card Cyba?
Come baby come come!Hurry up GTO!

Yes.Originally Posted by steelmax
Before penciling the card only got to 780MHz.
Now it is @ 821MHz.![]()
My card is @1,87V memory.
EDIT: Do I have to reinstall driver after changing voltage?

And how the heck do you measure the memory temp ?
Alright guys, help a n00b out.
I have an eVGA GTO that I want to up the mem voltage on. I measure the impedance at the spots, and on the right side of the resistor I get 9.54 and on the left side I get 4.05. I'm not much of a circuitry whiz, so not sure If I'm correct or not.
Anyways, I take a 3B mechanical pencil and "connect" the two metal ends on the resistor, but the measurements don't budge. I've tried penciling pretty hard without any luck.
What am I doing wrong?
9.54 what and 4.05 what ?
Do you know know to measure a resistor or any other passive component ?
One measuring head on one end, the other on the other end, and set the multimeter to display Ohm.
Alright, makes sense, I'm an idiot. I was measuring using the two points indicated in the last picture of the first post.
I´m not sure you measured the resistance.Originally Posted by InSuboRdiNaTioN
