yeap i've been testing those mushkins very meticulously
each setting is first checked with a few passes of test #5&8 of memtest
and then an SnM memory torture pass....

    my board is P5WDG2-WS
and i keep the cpu in safety speeds to make sure its not my source of errors

the thing is that i ve tested three of these kits and none seems to b able to pass Snm @ 930~1000 even @ 5-5-5-15
thats why i don't think we are talking about the same chips here...
i'd be glad to hear anything that certifies the opposite

I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm playing with this Micron D9xxx based set of F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ in my Quick look @ AM2 --> ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe, Orleans 3200+, G.Skill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ in AMD section... I was thinking about starting another of my OCing Reports with this kit, but I realized that I actually already did it in that thread. So I will keep it there... Results are pretty impressive for the $$$ and I'm looking forward to seeing what others will be getting - hopefully similar results

Vadim eluded to having 0605 but wouldnt guarantee (probably to prevent me sending them back). They cost a bit more too so i wouldnt go for them.

I had one other place but i cant find it anymore, ill see if i can remember.
cheers, yup had found those 2 the other day, odd how memory-configurator charge shipping yet pc-memory-upgrades dont, specially since they are part of same company gobeyond??? yup vadimm just told me they have latest on market, whatever that means, but they are about 3 miles from my house so will probably give em a look, only thing is they are 2-3 days back logged from what i can tell.

    Yes, i got:

The next revision of the G.Skill DDR2-800 2x1024MB HZ Series Dual
Channel Kit will be made available from G.Skill in May. The current
G.Skill DDR2-800 2x1024MB HZ Series Dual Channel Kit that we receive
from our suppliers are the latest available on the market.

I think they probably have them but i couldnt be 100%. Postage is rarely really free anyway, they just put the prices up a little to make up for it.

mem-config seems to offer some more interesting ram, they have that Team Group stuff which might be good for those on a budget.

It is looking like these will be my sticks of choice

Do either the DDR2 800 ZX or NS still use Elpida 6E-E? or the DDR2-667 for that matter?

I picked up a kit of the red heatspreader 5-5-5 PC2-6400 g.skills two weeks ago form newegg and the chips under the HS's said 'G.skill brand D2' (might have been D4?). G.skill branded IC's are not D9's correct?
God of all that is SFF.

    Question

    please excuse my scepticism
but are those speeds above 1ghz
    "SnM memory test" stable?
    or just memtest and spi32m?

if so, i should probably get rid of my 2x1gb Mushkin XP2 6400
and go get myself one of these kits and save about 50€ in addition...

Does anyone have ZX series ?

    G.S Technician
perhaps you might show us some results from that kit - it`s cheaper, but speed/timings are the same. How far can those go ?
