This thread is exactly what I have been looking for as X-Fi hardmod is what we are gonna make as we have made lota Creative sound card mods! I think I can get your XtremeMusic working as Fatal1ty FPS with definite 64MB X-RAM but I need Fatal1ty FPS's BIOS.
What we are going to do with modding?
1, Replace the X-RAM with a PC133 64Mb chip.
a, solder PC133 2mb out;
b, solder 64mb on
2, Flash BIOS of Xtreme;
a, get BIOS chip out of PCB using hot-air-gun
b, flash the BIOS chip with Flashing machine
3, Get a Platinum drive bay connected (without drive bay, Sound card still work)
4, Enjoy!
Now, what I need is just the X-Fi Fatality FPS BIOS file. I appreciate if anyone who would like to give me this! many thanks!!!
