Indeed, it can handle 333-350 fsb with a bump of the pcie@112-120.
Asusboards are the only one that can do this!

Even the new 965g is below, this chipset hit a wall around fsb 320 (pcie@120).
word of warning with the asus boards, as already mentioned. Around 310-320, nic gets flaky and dies out. I suffered the loss of my buddy list because of irratic nic. Sound goes out around 330. Sata around 350-360.

I did get the system to work at 400fsb, but since no drive, all I could do was memtest. Also, word of warning: don't do 400fsb with integrated graphics

In your case, its quite normal you loose NIC @310-320 because if it 's the P5L MX, there is no PCI lock in bios options like the P5LD2 VM.
I experienced not the weird issue PCIE@112 & FSB@333 which is my daily use!
No nic, sound nore sata problems as i mentionned earlier! although not perfect, the pci lock is better on P5LD2 VM than on the P5L MX!

whoa, bravo. you must have searched a thread i posted in or remembered?? Hmm, I could have sworn someone else had the p5ld2 and said they had to buy a nic still. Your rig is definitely a great testimony though

supposedly Abit's already exsisting intel 945 board does 350 easy without any issues.

via chipset, not the greatest, but i frequently talk with the guy who runs the mATX thread over at H and hes recommending this board until abit brings out their bad boy.

yeah teh matx boards are a different animal cuz of the onboard video. it changes everything, and why they never put a locking pci-e is beyond me.
they know full well if its a conroe board we overclockers are gunna buy it
they need to get with the program as they are missing out on a huge market of consumers who want a viable overclocking mATX board. without the stupid video.

Being bored and not having built anything new in months, I happened to read this post of yours and thought there was some merit to it. I have another mATX case that had never been used so I bought the Abit mb and put a 6400 in it. What a waste of time. The chip set is only single channel memory for starters. The vcore is only 1.3v and the max on memory is 1.95v. 533 is max speed for memory. OC options are very sparse. This board is the same as the ECS board.

This is not even a good cheap stock board as far as I can tell. Guy at H need to check into what he recommends.

Anyone who thinks they can make this mb fly, pm me and I will make you a good deal.

the max fsb of the Ip95 is 355 in bios, right?
but you cannot raised it above 300-310?

You are never going to hit 355 but that does not matter. Single channel memory makes it a loser from the start. The chip set will never support dual channel. Whoever even thought this was a board for oc'ers was not an oc'er.

When I was into AMD no one would have said get a 754 mb when 939was out.

Also, Abit does not do anything for the mb's that cost hundreds of dollars when it comes to bios updates, do you think they are ever going to do anything for a cheap mb not even taking the sc problem into account?
