    Yes.
I hope they'll be priced better than the legendary ''D9s''.
What I know is that Mushkin already have some.
Geil is next to these chips too.

It would be nice to have some nice cheap fast stuff like in the DDR1 days. Hopefully these deliver. If anything a good competitor to micron will reduce the demand for D9 and then maybe it will become a little bit more affordable

    D9GCT is 90nm, all new stuff (D9GMH, D9GKX, etc) is 78nm.

D9GCT is the same as GMH and GKX, just different bin. 266mhz at cas4, 333mhz at cas5 and 400mhz at cas5, respectively. all revD, 64x8 IC's

Ozzi, I just got a new 2x1GB set of micron chips on a brainpower pcb. Chips rated at CL4 533MHz, fatbody package, single sided and not stacked. Sticker says Engineering Sample in big print.

No one I've talked to has ever heard of the model number these chips have...now I just need to figure out how to make em boot on my P5B.

I'm gonna have to hotflash these most likely as they don't run as they are in my board.

I've tested two sticks of fat body which wouldn't boot if i set them as always ( pressed to the max ) in the board, the contact pads are too short and didnt make contact in Asus mobos, you have to pull them out a little bit. They were OEM sticks without any brand. If you show me a pic maybe i can tell you if you're having the issue that im speaking about or not.

So finished product with these ICs will be out 1st quarter? Hmmmm..........that should bring competition to Micron and most likely lower prices from them as a result.

    I can't wait.
