    At 300fsb is all she wrote for this motherboard?

    ya know guys he is testing it the way things should be tested little by little test it, see how it compares at different levels with the other chipsets.
    raise it some more.. test it more...

    now.. although i agree that DFI isnt known for crappy boards. they are also known to not have a good Intel line. they have historically had troubles internally with their relationship with intel. so for them to offer more intel i think is great.

    but only time will tell..... and ill be, as we all are, keeping my eyes on these threads.

    1300.....
    Wow,
    I am really underwhelmed. FSB isnt the only thing that matters but i can't imagine anyone serious about overclocking could hack that limit.

    Hopefully the RD600 is as good as promised.

    Hmm, guys.... did i not see something or what? I believe the "New Mem Speed" is limited to 400-> 1300 (DDR ofcourse)

    If this board indeed supports indepenent memory overclocking.... then there is NO evidence that this board is limited to 325Mhz FSB. Its just limited to a max of 1300 Mhz DDR2 speeds. Which is plenty for a initial test.

    Lets hope coolaler shows us a preety 500 x 8

    The board looks so sweet, but damn what a major setback it doesn't clock good. Believe me, if it could do 500FSB, DFI would've had it in even its earliest BIOS release.

    Seems as if the board sucks. INTC should work with Nvidia to make a good chipset now that AMDTI has been formed. They are going to need a good third party. Obviously Nvidia has not quite realized how to make a high clocking northbridge for fsb.

    "new FSB Speed (QDR) - 790-1300 => max fsb = 325.

    I agree. If it would be stable at higher speeds, they wouldn't limit it so low.

    IMO it's nvidia that broke your heart.
    This is just a revised nf4 chip. How long has nf4 been around? nvidia is getting lazy.

    Yes, and i think that everybody is missing that... I think that the LDT Multiplier is our "missing door" to go higher on the CPU and RAM.

    After reading TonyOCZ article about Intel's chipset and knowing that Conroe sets 1066 Strap, 267mhz is the nominal valor of FSB, let's see...

    267x4=1068(1066)
    267x3=801(800)
    267x2=534(533)
    .....
    267x5=1335(1333) -> X6800EE

    I have a E6600 that can reach 400 (400x4=1600mhz) FSB x9 = 3600mhz

    Now if that LTD Multiplier is what i imagine... Let's see:

    400 (400x3=1200mhz) FSB x9 = 3600mhz
    or
    400 (400x2=800mhz) FSB x9 = 3600mhz

    Those anyone see what i see?!...

    Coolaler...Show us the "Big Apple"..

    If that LDT Multiplier is for the memory controler on the FSB, it means that you still can lower the multiplier and push the FSB above 300mhz...

    300x5=1500(wall on NF590?!)

    300x3=900 (lower FSB) x9 = 2700mhz, means you can 500x3=1500 x9 = 4500mhz!!

    Do i make any sense?!?
