    Venice 3000+ 2808MHz 1.4V

    Hi everybody,

here is my 3000+ Venice bought a month ago in a shop in Paris:

It is rock stable at 2700 at 1.36V. OCCT at 1.34V

    I'm in aircooling, using a 7700cu.

My step is an 0517 DPMW, batch 0882.

Now I'll test at 2900MHz stable and maybe 2950 (3000??).

Room temps was about 23°C and I had 40°C in full load (28°C IDLE)

    whoa

that is simply an awesome chip, excellent work with it.
Scares me to think what it would do with 1.7 volts!

my 3700+ also does that with normal cooling, but no go over 3150 with phase change, it's primestable though

I got same stepping, and I can run Superpi at 2952 with 1,55 volts. But I need alot more voltage for 2900 to be stable.

I had one of these also but it would only do 2700mhz @1.42V and 2808mhz @1.5V and that was that ...

week 17 rocks indeed, got myself a venice3000+ @1.38 on an Xp-90 with 5v fan, does 2500mhz 1:1 on pc3200 corsair [280mhz]...u're so tempting me to let go of my "OC until u're happy with it" motto and try to push it further

I had the same chip. At 1,4V it did 2800 Mhz rockstable, but I didn't reach 3000 MHz, the chip didn't love higher voltage...

I boot at 1.48V at 2906MHz but I can't be stable because I'm in AIR.

    superpi 1M Ă:banana: 2906MHz @ 1.52V

Not to single you out, but recently I've seen a lot of screenies with cpu's @ high speeds, but unusually slow spi times. What are your memory timings? @ that speed, your spi time should be MUCHMUCH faster, even without tweaks and some stuff running in the background:

I was in 2.5-4-3-5 at 3:5 mem divider so 194MHz for the memory.

I think that speed with superpi depends more speed of the memory and timings, but I only want to see what can do my DPMW

May I ask why are you running your memory that slow?

That are my timings for my 24/7 utilisation with 300MHz FSb 1:1. I take time to find the better timings for my GEIL ultra-X pc3200 (TCCD) at this frequency.
And that would make me waste time to change them each time I change the FSB (configuring, memtest etc...) whereas I just want to see where can go my cpu.

    ps: sorry for the english

Understandable that you want to just push the cpu, but in your sig you show your mem @ 300. Why not run the 9/10 divider and have your memory @ 289 with those timings? No offense, but are you sure you're not confusing 194Mhz with 294mhz?

    no it's 194MHz
I use 3:4 mem divider because others make errors at memtest, why? i dont know

EDIT: I juste try superpi at 300 2.5-4-3-5 1:1 (2700 for the cpu) and I do the same score of 32sec

Try running @ 2.9G with divider @ 9/10 and you should see sub-30 1m time.....
