I never had a problem with my DFI. I think many complaints originate from -

    1) Users who don't know what the hell they are doing
    2) Users who use 5V rail for RAM

You might 'feel' this way, but im happy ive had a board for quite a few months now. If I was told tht I would have to wait till this revision to have a Socket-939 nForce-4 brd from DFI then I would have bought something else!!

I reallt cant understand some peeps being 'unhappy' with new revisions, if this was released a few weeks after the first then understandably this wouldnt be right, but this revision is MONTHS after the first batch, I see absolutely nothing wrong with this

You can't blame the users for using a feature that's advertised with the board. It's actually the selliing point for most users.

I wounder how many of you has been married, there will always be a new kid in town.

And what most people has not fully comprehend is that operating the system way out of specification will eventually kill it.
Also handling the computer parts without ESD protection, will surely do it.

I 'll hope that the owners of previous DFI motherboards will not be without support.

Well if DFI have fixed all the issues with this revision then the least they can do is offer an RMA to all those that are having problems with the first revision boards. That would make DFI shine as a company.

That's a good one. And who the hell would pay for that action?
Oh well they could price the new revision nearly 100% more to make up for it, but I have the strange feeling that this wouldn't be a good idea either.

Anyone who really has problems with the board only (i.e. mainboard malfunction) can RMA the board anytime he/she wants. But it looks like a lot of the people who are complaining got perfectly good boards and the problem is caused by some other hardware.

Remarks like this, drive me mad. So you are suggesting the cold boot problem is user or jumper 17 problem

the 4 pin P4 power plug is there. Its in the same spot that it is on the currnt boards. The difference is its molded out of black plastic on that new board, just look closely.

It's 8 pin like on some Intel boards, needs an 8 pin connector on your PS or it won't work. I had one of my PCPC 510's moded to be ready.

It's for extra power for SLI systems.
