    2100+ Survey Results...

    I have tabulated some results from the Xtreme and Overclockers forums re folks results.

    45 total entries in my database with total average overclock of 2348

    Three 0245 entries (2 AIUGB and 1 AIUHB) - average overclock = 2390 (2 water cooling, 1 unknown)

    Nine 0248 entries (all AIUHB) - average overclock = 2424 (3 water, 6 air cooling)

    Two 0249 entires (all AIUHB) - average overclock = 2375 (1 water, 1 air colling)

    Fourteen 0250 entries (all AIUHB) - average overclock = 2369 (8 air, 4 water, 2 prometeia) Average oc w/o prometeia = 2308

    One 0251 entry (AIUHB) overclock = 2015 (on BAD air, i.e., Zalman)

    Six 0301 entries (5 AIUHB, 1 unknown) - average overclock = 2298 (4 air, 1 water, 1 unknown)

    Three 0302 entries (2 AIUHB, 1 unknown) - average overclock = 2406 (2 air, 1 water)

    Seven unknown entries (4 AIUHB, 3 unknown) - average overclock = 2250 (4 air, 1 water, 2 unknown)

    Looks like the 0248s take it so far in this not-nearly-scientific survey, followed closely by the 0302s. Hopefully the 0302s are bearing good news for the future, but with only three samples, hard to extrapolate.

    btw, voltages ranged from stock to a high of 2.16, with an average of 1.83. Generally, as you would expect, higher voltage meant higher overclock.

    it seems that the 4-letter code after the date code is actually more important than the exact week m8.... maybe you should do another survey about that

    I would think so, but it would not be a large difference.

    Those who have demonstrated 2500mhz on air @ 1.85v, have chips that do the same as Cathar's 2100s @ 2600mhz @ 1.85v @ 10C Ambient.

    JC, I would, but that would call for another thread entirely. I compiled these number from existing posts, and few people posted that information.

    But maybe if I get some more time I"ll check again (I took yesterday off from work)

    bah, I got in 2 more AIUHB 2100+ today and they both suck (again)
    one's a week 50 the other a week 01. I cannot reach 2.7 GHz with either one, and this is with a -50C block sitting on them...
    I can boot windows at 2.75 though

    also I just broke the goddamn frikking socket on my 8RDA+
    Damn I wish the prom would also use the mounting holes instead of the socket tabs

    Promethia should know that they need to use the bolts not the socket.

    I agree, bolts are better, but on the other hand , not all mainboards have the 4 holes, which could have complicated things...
    It was "kind of" my fault that it broke though, since I wanted a bit more pressure on the core to make sure I had good contact

    I got 0301 AIUHB.
    Max it will boot into windows at is 2536mhz at 1.95V.
    It runs fine at 2400mhz @ 1.8V.
    This is on air. SLK-800 with 80mm Tornado

    You're up 15 mhz and down .1 volts from what I originally had you at.

    The 0302s are looking even stronger, the average is now 2436 with 4 CPUs, which is even higher than the 0248s now. Anyone else with an 0302??? There should be quite a few with them soon. Let's get a larger sample!

    I have an AIUHB 0249. The highest I have gotten it to is 2610Mhz @ 2.1V. For 24/7 use it's at 2205Mhz w/ 1.75V. Cooling is an SLK-800/Vantec Tornado 80mm.

    Just an FYI to all...if you don't mind running a lot of juice through your chip, the AIUHB 0302s seem to be kicking some butt. I've got 5 in the database now.

    2314 at 1.85v air cooled
    2560 at 1.97v water cooled
    2346 at 1.925v air cooled
    2526 at 2.06v water cooled
    2614 at 2.21v water cooled

    2330 air cooled avg.
    2567 water cooled avg.

    again, small sample size, but encouraging!

    Yes, 2205Mhz (10.5x210) is stable in Prime for 24Hrs at that voltage.
