Very nice cpu you have got there! Maybe you can reach some higher mem speed to get better results? Or your TCCD @ high clocks cl2.5-4-4-8?

Modding the board now, checking seal with adapter in.

Chip is labled ES. The black plastic around the core is for protection. MSI gets props for the lit NB fan (also runs at 6k)

Ill be ready for benching tomorrow night, power keeps going out to get started now.

Lookin great fugger. That chip will rock ln2 prolly. Good luck with your max overclocks I wonder if your es has troubles with high bus speed like the 780es does over 3300mhz or so.

    Very nice.

If the ram can handle 250 tight, might i suggest 12x? What is the hsf setup you have on it? I hope you don't mind my suggestion, I know I'm much newer to OC than yourself don't be insulted.

Shame why we can't lock down the reason for this FSB limitation.

Its the same thing for the celerons with latest stepping.

Has to be a reason why

    3ghz on air

I'll be happy with 2.5ghz or higher on air when my 730 arrives. I plan on using the machine for gaming.

Very interesting. I've been following the Dothans for a while and they seem promising. Why is there a floppy-style connector going into the socket area?

you have to follow the whole threads on the issue, but it basicly has to supply the P-m and C-m with a startup voltage before Vcore kicks in.

Ok, just about ready... How you like those nuts? Wing nuts... I modified a set of wing nuts to work with original mounting bracket.
