Win Xp home for dual core?

Will Windows Xp home cut it for a dual core 3.2? I remembered I needed Xp Pro for my true dually rig.

I ordered a dual core sys last week, and this kind of hit my mind after the fact

    Thanks in advance!

If memory serves me correctly, XP Home and Win 2k Pro support 1 physical or two logical. Since the dual core proc is on ONE physical socket functioning as two logical processors it would work fine.

Home will be able to be used for dual core procs, it will recognize them fully.

XP home is not trash, the only difference is that you dont have access to all of the networking rights capabilities. If you dont need that then get home and save $100.
