    Hynix b5 @301Mhz 3.4.4.6 T1 and @290Mhz 2.4.4.5 T1 stable only 2.85v

These are Kingmax hardcore series DDR500 2x512 sticks. Does anyone has expreince with this ram. I'm thinking to push 3.1v with DDR booster. 3.0v max is what MF recomend. These will get extreme cooling @- 25c.
Could extra voltage make it less stable? I heard something about that with TCCD. I have not memtested them but i know they are rock stable @280 while playing games

Wow, extremley nice for such a low VDIMM! CAS 2 memory always makes me feel warm inside .

It's weird... Micron stuff does 3-2-2, this stuff does 2-4-4.... when will we have a 2-2-2 low voltage part (if ever - before DR1 dies)?

    I assume 1T?

neat, i want to see some 300mhz, then compare to tccd.

2.5-3-3 or 2-4-4 is the question!

well i used that ram on my dfi ultra-d and got 3-3-3 @ 285mhz easy with 3.2 volts. that ram scales very well with volts and with some cooling and more volts like 3.3-3.5 im sure i would have hit 300 3-3-3 because every .1 volt gave like 10 more mhz easy. hynix ram is way underated and that ram is cheap!!!

btw slam it some volts it will respond!! hey and nice cas 2

CAS latency is much less important that ras to tras. 2.5-3-3 will beat 2-4-4 any day.

With equal setup on same mhz yes it will. But with tighter timings you could not scale that high. It just so much depends on your setup, dif ram dif clock can be achieved. Now i stumble @280 2.4.3.5 t1 but with 2.4.4.5 can scale to 290 . That extra 100 FSB does good damage. No dob't tight timings are beter and " ras to tras" is more important setting regarding speed but GAS latency is also just a bit below it.

I will put 3.3v max thru this ram then then. If . 1v for every 10 is true i should be able breake 320 hehe wishfull thinking. i'l take 320 anyday even with 3.4.4.x timings. With 1280 1:1 FSB = high rambandwide and low latency cache this cpu has, it should be in 23s PI. But that means 3.2G cpu = 100% overclock might not happen with chilled watter. This would be my ultimate goal. But lets get to 300 for now

well i managed to push this ram to 301Mhz with 3.4.4.6 timings. Still 2.85 volts. My DDR booster coming friday so hopefully i can go further. 300 is not realy stable but prety much i was able to save CPUZ verification file. I dobt i can bench on it with such litle volts but it's nice to know it's possible. everything is still stock no Vmods to MB. Does anyone had P4P800se with 1200+ fsb unmoded? I don't know how much further NB will allow to run it in 1:1 mode. I set my Vagp to 1.8 in bios. I wish there would be someway to get this to atleast 2v. So far i can only find drop and vddr mod for this board but realy have no need for them.

So you guys think i'm gona TCCD with more volts, i could change the divider for that to ease FSB load

hmm i thought it said b5 when i removed the heatspreader. But i could be wrong it migh just pretty much be d5. I will doblecheck that when i'l get DDR booster and let you know. I just hope this ram will like volts

    Those are awseome d3 fordf250.

When you get your booster the hynix liked more volts at tight timmings 3.2 at 2-3-3-6 and 230fsb but only liked 3V or less over 265fsb and 2.5-4-4-7.Best of luck.

in my experence that ram loves the volts and while testig i went to 3.3 volts before my friend who ownes them said hay stop that hehehe... btw they kept scaling every volt bump on my dfi mobo i got 285 @3.2v reall stable and 295 benchable all at cl 3-3-3 haha if i had tried 3-4-4 i bet it would go way hiigher over 300 for sure. a tip is keep them cool mine got pretty hot

this is super good memory for the moneys its so cheap i almost want to buy a kit to play with again!!!!!

btw if i owned this ram i would try 3.5-3.7 volts and make them scream but unfortunatly my friend wouldnt let me test them this way and see thier real max maybe 300 @ 2-3-3 or 330 @ 3-4-4 who knows hehe

I own this ram too. Its the kingmax hardcore that retails for 160bux at newegg for 2x512 pc4000.

I have pushed my ram to 270fsb so far and all im doing is 2.85v but am thinking about modding my mobo to give it 3.3v to thew ram. I find this ram runs perfectly cool @ 2.85v so 3.3 should not be too hot.

Same as his ram. TSOP d5 hynix. was running at 270fsb with 2.85v for a good week @ 3-3-3-5 and im running it now @ 260fsb @ 2.85v @ 2.5-3-3-5

Im thinking about pushing 3.3v through this ram. It runs cool up to 2.85v so 3.3 should not be terribly hot.

D5 will do 2.5-3-3- at 500 and 3-3-3 at 265+ but not much higher. DTD43 actually is a little better than D5 and is what we used in out 4000gold rev2, so if you are using 865 or 875 this may be the route to take.

The old 4400Gold used B5 and C5 as far as i know and these were the most capable of ddr600 but at 3-4-4 usually. Some of the older 4200EL has BTD43 which is real sweet if you can find it and loves being juiced up

If your looking for good 4200EL look for the modules with the brushed copper heatspreders.

Thats what I have, 4200EL and they hit 306fsb at 7-4-4-2.5 and I think they were also some of the lowest priced memory I bought till the new 3200gold.
