    Some pretty good bh-6

    Hello,

I was cleaning out my closet when i stumbled upon a 256 mb card of Kingston value ram, and wouldn't you know it, the ram was bh-6. MY results with the ram at 3.2 v is shown in the attachment.

AT this voltage it seems to have met its peak, i own a DFI lanparty Nf3 motherboard and have seen many ways to get the ram more voltage, I am wondering which would be the best way for me to mod this, this computer is my only computer and i want the computer running constantly (not at extreme volts mind you) but for other ram.

    Thanks,
    ZIZI

Search for a vdimm mod. Increasing your 3.3v rail from the PSU is also an option. For 24/7 maybe vdimm mod is best.

How did you know it was BH-6 on your valueram? I have also got some valueram pc3200 cas 2,5 with winbond style markings (two big dots and one little in the corner) but chips are relabeled. How can I know if it is BH-6? I purchased them in january 2004. Maybe mail Kingston?

Well the reason i knew is that the chips were marked winbond BH-6, howver your ram could be bh-6...or even bh-5? cause in cpu-z this is waht i get its pc2700 ram so your should be bh-5 if its winbond, 166mhz 2.5-3-3-7, howver since it was baught in 2004 i doubt its the old bh chips, possibly utt?

    D328DM-5 = BH-5
    D328DM-6 = BH-6
    D328DW-45 = BH/CH-5
    D328DW-5 = BH-5
    D328DW-6 = BH-6

Other remarked chips could be anything, Kingston uses all kinds of chips in their valueram.
