I used to have links here demonstrating how awesome I am, but it's been so long that they're not very relevant (and the pictures have disappeared), so I guess I'll have to get working on new stuff.

oh i have no idea. i'm running terrible timings and low speeds until i max out the cpu.

pi can go way down, don't worry.

The non XE Smithfields will probably overclock better because they lack HT.

I doubt that. HT system takes about 7% of core. And in PD it`s just turned off. So those 7 percents won`t increase heat so much.

try the multithreaded version of super pi, that you can find in "Systool" at techpowerup.

    hehe, see first post

on a somewhat related note... i can't get pcmark to run on this OS... win2k3... anyone else have this problem?

i'll do cinebench and other benches on sunday. i already shut down my cascade for tonight and i'm pretty tired. unfortunantly i'll be gone all day tomorrow, but sunday i should have all day to mess with this, so hopefully i'll be able to make some improvements.

i will but it looks like i'm going to have to reformat and put xp on it to do that.
it will not run at all with win2k3.

Sweet, very nice speeds. I love my P5WD2-D

I made the mounting and Reggie probably made the block. I can tell its one of the most recent made. I remember the bit getting some material fused to it and leaving those brown circles in a few spots before I caught it.

The bolt spacing is perfect for 80MM fans to slide onto, use two more nuts to adjust fan direction even more or secure fan better.

I also have plenty mounting for that block to fit ATI and Nvidia. Not sure if you got those with your block and mounting.
