    What means the King of DDR600?GSkill 1GBFF 2.46V SP2004 finished

    Recently, I’ve been spending time to test some AMD hi-end CPUand other motherboards.
    As good luck, DFI nF4 LP released 6/23 BIOS.
    Let me challenge the limitation of my FF

    Looks

    Original Specification :

    * Packing : 1024MB kit (2x512MB) dual channel pack
    * IC Chips : Samsung TCCD
    * CAS Latency : 2.5-3-3-7 (PC4400) / 2.5-4-4-8 (PC4800)
    * Test Voltage : 2.85~2.95 V
    * PCB : 6 layers PCB
    * Speed : DDR 550 MHz (PC4400) / DDR 600 MHz (PC4800)
    * Pin Count : 184-pin DDR SDRAM
    * ECC : Non-ECC
    * Registered/Unbuffered : Unbuffered
    * Warranty : Life-time

    The proverb said : There is always a great cooler behind the great OCer

    Of course, windwithme also got one.

    Test Configuration
    AMD Athlon64 3000+ 0517 (BIOS:6/23-1)
    DFI nF4 LANParty Ultra-D
    GSkill 1GBFF
    SPARKLE6200
    Sunnystone water-cooler
    TOPOWER 520W

    In BIOS, DRAM set to 2.5V, tweak the parameters to 2-2-1-2, not normal 2-2-2-3.
    Direct to run SP2004 level 9.
    After 53 minutes, the system is still stable.

    Press Stop

    There is a legend...
    If someone can collect AMD legendary FX57 and E6 stepping 3000+.3200+.3500+.3800+, there will be some miracle...

    Last week, I’ve post E6(BW) 3000+ & 3800+ simple test...
    Now, lets see another E6

    Next test probably 4600+ VS FX57, or 4800+ simple test.
    I will update without schedule...

    Only 2.5v, very cool

    How does performance increase/decrease when you change the parameters?

    Can you test superpi, 3dmark01, sisoft, etc, etc ?

    Only one single Prime 95 test for 53min? You didn't even allow it to pass one test. That's ridiculous.

    Very nice indeed.

    What's the highest speed your FF can do at 2.5-3-3-7?

    Wasn't Smarguardian supposed to show 2.46v instead of 2.6v

    The DFI board overvolts, so it's actually closer to 2.63vdimm.

    Got it. I thought you were adding the Smartguardian pic to your previous result.

    Have you tried 2.5-4-3-7 2.46v for superpi32M stablility?

    Its curious but sometimes I have settings that can run OCCT for hours but fail Superpi32M.

    Just like Onepagebook and formyfaith eh?
    I'm surpised there are so few people with FF and that they all seem to max out exactly at DDR600.

    Hundred pairs of FF? Maybe you/he can send me one?
    I'd love to test 'the King of DDR600' like windwithme calls FF but they're all sold out over here.

    What do 'customer' and 'normal FF' and 'guaranteed' speed matter at XS?
    For those die-hard overclockers out there, isn't XS all about picking your best pair and overclocking it to extreme situations?
